What an awesome eye spy. I love what you are doing. What a great mix of pickles and solids.

Looks like a lot of concentration is needed in this one. Can't wait for the finish.

Nice going! This is very pretty and will only be more so as you go along. Nice choice of fabrics. Keep us poster as you progress. It is so much fun to share someone else's journey.

Rosie, what a wonderful quilt this will be....beautiful.

The original design is Karen Stone Clam Session. There is not a pattern. I HAVE TRIED FOR TWO YEARS NOW to get a response from Karen. I even contacted a group on the east coast that sponsored her class on this quilt several years ago. THEY HAD NO INFORMATION......They said Karen was hard to communicate with....they had to threatened to cancel their class to get her to call them about her arrival.....not responsive. Too bad...there are a lot of us that would have gladly paid for the pattern....instead we are left to our devices. LIKE EQ, right, Rosie.

Those clamshells look pretty large...what is the size.....will you be machine piecing those shells together or hand piecing? Very colorful.

interesting story about the supposed originator of this design.....wonder why she is incommunicado.....

Thank you for including us in the PROCESS of making this quilt. BTW I, too, think the green is pulling the overall look together wonderfully.
