I am divided between a mild narrow colored sashing and a wider cream one with purple and/or green sawtooth stars around a cornerstone. One consideration is how large you want the finished quilt to be. I would probably use a really nice fancy fabric for an unpieced border of 6", maybe with the same sashing inside that.

Usually when you receive blocks the sizes may vary slightly. How about you alternate borders around each block, one purple and the next green. Then you can trim the blocks all to the same size and the borders will act as sashing. I made a scrappy like this and really liked the way it turned out.
