jw3280, how did you finish your placemats? It looks like there is no binding. We've been eating on bamboo placemats but I could certainly make up some placemats -- maybe even with a seasonal theme -- and they could certainly go in the wash when the inevitable spill happens ...

I turned them, lay out the batting, top right side up then backing right side down, stitch around leaving an opening to turn them.......

Never tire of seeing scrappies. Love them all.

I love this pattern and the colors you used. Where can I find this pattern?

Welcome to the Board!

However, with the number of scrappy quilts in this thread, I am sure that you can see why it would be hard for anyone to know which quilt you are talking about! Just add in which post number the quilt you are asking about is in, and I am sure someone will answer your query.

Nice to see the latest posts and pics from sewbizgirl (#2577). Gives me inspiration to keep saving scraps. My problem is finding time to sew now that spring is here. The way our lawn is growing it will be time to mow it next week and that usually doesn't happen until end of April. Love seeing all the pictures everyone. Please keep sharing.

This was from Mystery Train Ride #8. I donated this quilt to the local Lion's club. They auctioned it during their annual auction to raise funds for their projects. This quilt brought $100. I was so surprised and pleased.
