Quilt that I made for my mother for Christmas
#1
Below is a pic of quilt that I finished today that will be a Christmas present for my mother. The field of the quilt top was made from a layer cake in the "Wildflower Serenade II" collection by Kansas Troubles Quilters from Moda. I picked out some coordinating fabric for the borders, binding, and backing. The pattern is called "Town Square" from the "Charm Quilts" book by Suzanne McNeill. It's basically a simple charm square pattern with a split trapezoid border of squares around it. It measures 54" x 73". I hope my mother likes it! :)

Eddie-I love this quilt on so many levels!!
First, I am a huge Kansas Troubles fan--I love all their fabrics.
Second--this pattern is beautiful and really showcases the warmth of the fabrics.
Third---I LOVE the way you photograph your quilts. Your porch swing is wonderful. I loved your last posting with the quilt in the rocking chair. I would be so happy to just sit on your porch and rock or swing for a while.
Your mom is going to be soooo happy. You are a good son. :-)
