The quilt was made by my great grandmother, Mary Tennessee Eastman Currey. She was born in Knoxville, TN in 1840. She died in 1921 in Nashville, TN. She served as a nurse during the Civil War in a hospital in Columbus, GA, where her husband was a doctor. This quilt was probably made during the early 1900's. It measures 70"x76". My mother had it quilted in 1975 and gave it to me as a wedding present. The small squares are 1/2". It is hand pieced and quilted.

What a wonderful quilt and to know your mother quilted it for your wedding.
