Just finished this top for a charity quilt. Super quick, just 3 fabrics. Cut all into 2 1/2" strips and sew one strip of each to make a 3 strip set, keeping the same three fabrics in the same order for all three sets. The second or middle fabric makes the 'frame' in the pattern. Then cut triangles using a 90 degree ruler or your cutting mat lines. Alternate each triangle top and bottom to use all the fabric, and to get two different triangles with opposite fabrics at the top and bottom. Then just sew together in blocks of 4 triangles, alternating each triangle as shown. Superfast. [ATTACH=CONFIG]527545[/ATTACH]

Nice! I'll have to try it with forgiving fabrics first. Not stripes or things that would show if (who am I kidding? when) the angle was off. Maybe some nice solids. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, no, Jeanne. Trying to hook me again? I loved your triple Irish chain, so made one. But I don't have time right now to make this wonderful quilt. You are so innovative and the results are spectacular.
