Default Super Quick 3-Fabric Quilt for Charity (Masculine colors)

Just finished this top for a charity quilt. Super quick, just 3 fabrics. Cut all into 2 1/2" strips and sew one strip of each to make a 3 strip set, keeping the same three fabrics in the same order for all three sets. The second or middle fabric makes the 'frame' in the pattern. Then cut triangles using a 90 degree ruler or your cutting mat lines. Alternate each triangle top and bottom to use all the fabric, and to get two different triangles with opposite fabrics at the top and bottom. Then just sew together in blocks of 4 triangles, alternating each triangle as shown. Superfast.

Well, that looks great! Ideas that look complicated but are easy are my favorite. Thanks for sharing!

Neat quilt, and thanks for the explanation. Looks like a fancy combination of bowties and spools - I wouldn't have expected it to be so simple.

That looks great! Me too, I'm a fan of patterns that look far more complicated than they are!
