I have my top pieced and the border on. This is huge for me. I don't get a lot of time to sew but I'm going to persevere.

I'm downloading the 365 challenge too. Haven't started on it but if I continue to like it, I may. Small blocks like that are a challenge for me.

I like the 365 challenge. I think I will start that too using only my stash and choosing random colors and make it a scrappy type quilt!

    Default First UFO 2016

This is my first UFO for 2016.
It's a half square quilt challenge for my Bee.
It feels good to complete projects.

Sorry, having trouble adding photos, need to figure this out.

Hubby helped me down to the sewing room and I stayed down there 4 hours, it felt great to be really sewing for the first time in a few weeks. Worked an hour on the antique quilt then dug out a UFO. Not sure how old it is but know it's at least 14 years old, St. Louis 16 Patch. Fun. Will keep it on the sewing table and use it as a fill in.

I agree with you Janice, wonky is okay. I see it as a design opportunity. A finish is a great feeling, almost as much fun as a new project. Current UFO is ready to put binding on.. Will get that done tomorrow. That will be two done.

terriamn that is awesome! Feels good doesn't it? Hubby helped me put a small quilt on the quilting table today and I even got it quilted. Made the flange binding and got it sewed on. It's done!!! I never sew the binding on with the machine but it worked rather well. It's small 50" x 52" but it's a start. Perfect for my new grand baby coming soon. Will photo tomorrow and post.
