Can I sneak in a couple more rescue dog pictures? Lola (on top), sleeping. Hank, a ridiculous 80 lb. bassett who was aggressive when we adopted him but is MUCH nicer now.
All of the GI pictures are wonderful. Love the owl backing fabric (but my BFF quilt buddy would've picked the skulls!). Beautiful floral backing, too. I haven't worked on mine in weeks, but am going on retreat soon so I hope I get back to it.

I ended up hating my finished mystery quilt top.I love the colors but think it's messy looking.
I'm quilting it now then am giving to a neice downstate but I feel guilty about it cause she is so sweet and won't say anything bad about it. I wouldn't take the time to even quilt it but had told my sister I was giving it to her daughter.

Lafpeaches, maybe you could include a note with the quilt, explaining that it didn't turn out as you expected, and give her the option of keeping that one, or waiting for another? I think there's a good chance she will love it.

It seems like the younger generation like it more than we do. I showed mine to my son and daughter today and they both really liked it. I showed it to a 70 yr old friend the other day and she couldn't even stand to look at it. Said her eyes couldn't focus on it.

Beautiful, Krista. It took me all year to finish my Celtic Solstice and I don't expect GI to be any different. But seing all these finished quilts makes me wish I didn't have so many projects ahead of it on the list.
