Great finishes everyone! I thought I'd share a button I made for my blog... this is my mantra for 2013!

I finished my first FMQ quilt ...a square sort of crib size. this was my first attempt of any thing this large and everything previously had been straight line (and some wavy lines) with my walking foot. It's far from perfect but I did it and now have some confidence built up for the next one! I discovered that marking on the " golden threads" paper was a big help in conquering spaces. Can't wait To do some more.

Cute quilt Shadowirish! Love those colors.

Here is UFO Finish #7 - Shabby Roses!

The pattern I used is called "Down the Garden Path" from an April 2002 issue of McCall's Quilting. This quilt was inspired by a set of fat quarters I bought from Keepsake Quilting. The fabric line is Tudor Garden by Faye Burgos for Marcus Brothers. This quilt was pieced in 2005 and professionally quilted in Dec. 2012.

I had to scramble to piece a backing large enough when I realized I had not purchased enough of the large floral on green. Fortunately I found the matching large floral on tan in my stash and had enough leftovers from the top to make it work!
