I am right along with you all. I have way too many UFO's. I choose a word this year and it is, focus, and that is what I have been doing since the NY has started. So I am trying my best to get a stripy, scrappy quilt that I have had for some time done and it is almost there.....yeah! Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Judith, it doesn't matter if it's big or small, they are FINISHED so,...WAY TO GO, GIRL!!
I would love to come on here within the next week or so and see that you have posted saying that your WIP lap quilt is an FO. Looking forward to it.

Fraew, that is the funniest story you shared. I'm sure we all identify with you. Or at least I do. Your quilt is beautiful. I hope you finish it. And thank you for making me giggle.

Wildyard, I like the progress on your t-shirt quilt. I am slowly working on one of my many UFO's. It is a selvege quilt I started last year. I am doing it QAYG and am at the point now that I am very frustrated with it. I think this will be my last big QAYG project. From now on, they are going to the LA person. I like funky things or at least I thought I did. Before I sewed the final blocks together, I decided that I would take pics of two different layouts. I have found that looking at a picture helps me see it in a different light. After viewing both pics, I decided I am not so funky after all and am going with the more balanced look. I will post both and you can see what I mean.

I've done QAYG and sometimes think it takes forever to get a quilt done, but once it's done, it's done. That being said a QAYG is on my list of UFO's.

I don't know which is your favorite, but, I really like the top photo. I have not done a quilt as you go yet. But, I am thinking of trying it on one of my WIP's. But have really not made that decision yet. I think I need to watch a few more videos on it first. I also like the green borders you used.

I DID chose to go with the top picture. I thought that as busy as the quilt was, it needed some definition and orderliness to tame it down some. Tomorrow will be the beginning of sewing the 3 sections together...although I won't finish tomorrow, I will start! :-) And Oksewglad...I love your sense of humor! Hopefully, will post a finished pic next week.

Lets go with the top photo on this one. I like that one. I personally would not do a QAYG because I can never figure out how that works. I do my own longarm quilting.
That brings to my success today. I actually finished seven quilts today. I have the one side of binding on them, working on the second side. I will post photos when the binding is complete. One of them was a simple nine patch and I just love how it came out. I quilted circle wreaths in the off set square. Now doing the binding. Uggggggh. I have an old one that I inherited that is on the longarm now. It will take a good 10 hours if not longer to finish. It has many errors in the construction so my work is cut out for me. That will be next weekend. I have to get a class project completed this week for a class I teach next month at the LQS. I am stumped on it because I do not want to make a pattern out of the book and making up my own. Have to keep it simple so people can finish it during class. Good job on keeping on folks. Keep up the good work.

I like the green border...gives the blocks good definition.
