    I also freeze half of the baked goods that I make. Make them in 8 by 8 inch pans...serve one and the other goes in the freezer.

    I bought a square angel food cake pan. It's a real novelty.
    I have my grandmother's square angel food cake pan. It's much bigger then the new ones I've seen.

    How are you baking that you are "pulling out the center"
    I think it is meant the center is pulled out after baking so there will be a hollow to fill with the filling. Like a bread bowl or bun sandwich. I pull out the center of most all my sandwich breads so the toppings stay put.
