What about the timing issue? I have never dismantled a machine --- and also never read that it could be necessary to re-time them. Maybe it's a dumb question, but I'm a little leery...

I do own one (pretty red-eye that I enjoyed bringing back from stasis), but it was given to me by a neighbor out of the blue and I can't wrap my head around it...
