    I quilted my jelly roll race quilt on the diagonal. It didn't stretch or distort in any way. I think if I was going to have somebody do one on a longarm I'd pick a curvy pantogram.

    Prism99 makes some really good points on the diagonal quilting idea. I really like the quilt in the link she provided and thinking one wouldn't have to SID all the seams either, which would be a huge bonus in my books!

    Prism, you've gone and done it again ... impressed me, that is! LOL I love the wavy lines on the quilt you linked us to. It is probably the prettiest Jelly Roll Race I've seen. Is that your blog? Are you The Empress of the Universe?
