What a great Christmas present idea. It would work like a shawl. I have some panels - maybe I could use them for that purpose since I don't have a tree any longer.

Ahhh.Such things as this often is a birth of a great New Idea. Goodness who knows what will happen next. When my Mom was so ill with cancer she really wanted a sort of jacket thing to cover her shoulders. Sounds like you may have a wonderful ides. Put a lovely soft bow at the neck. She probably would love to be the First to have something made just for her. Go for it girl!!
