Not doing Row by row this year. I was in about four quilting shops yesterday and no fabric caught my eye or came home with me. It is a new record for me. Wow. Won't have any more temptation moments until June 7th...All Iowa Shop Hop day and when two of the stores say everything in our shop is $7.00 a yard. Others have up to 20% off. Now to see how productive I can be in finishing up UFOs...

Flower beds are needing me to pull grass out of them. Nice it would be to see the tulips in bloom, instead of the grass blowing in the wind. Cherry trees are in bloom. Sun is shinning. May it be a good day for you.

I bet your DH was surprised to see ya come home w/o any new fabric! I don't know if I could be so strong.
I went to Midland on Sunday & came home on Tues. I went to see my dentist. My DD & her family are gonna come to see us this evening. Since the flooring still isn't installed & the King size bed is in storage still we bought an inflatable bed for 'em to sleep on. The flooring is supposed to be delivered today & they will start on Monday. Cross your fingers though, as we have heard that before. Well I gotta get moving & start my day.

Those are some interesting people, QNS! What a beautiful place they live in, and it must be great to play with vintage sewing machines and fix them. Been doing a bit of that myself!

I'm not sure I will do another Row by Row quilt this year. I'm not that excited about the theme. If I see some really good row patterns, I might just do a few rows as wall hangings. I still love the quilt I made last year, but don't need another one.

Bev, hope your flooring guys show up and get you finished up. I know it's aggravating to have your house torn up. Have a nice visit with your DD and family.
