I am so happy you posted this. I have some of that fabric as left overs from a quilt. And now you've given me a wonderful idea on what to do with all the pieces left over. I love it. Even though it does look more white. I think I have some soft green and pink Kona solids that I can use with the white. I'm so exited. Thanks for sharing.

Hope you don't mind that I copied your info and pic.

I absolutely love what you've done. It truly is a work of art! Thanks for sharing! I love the way some of the blocks "float", too.

If imitation is the sincerest form of ....

No, of course not. I don't mind. I wouldn't have shared so much information if I minded. I shared so anyone could use what I did if they want to. Freely.

Your quilt is amazing. I love it. What size are your scraps (& white sq's) for in between the center block formation and the 4 patches? I realize the white squares directly around the center and next to the border four patches are 4 1/2". In looking at your EQ6 layout, I thought those three rows were scrappies, but when I see your finished quilt, there is a white square separating the scrappies. Thanks for sharing.

Everything on the pattern is relational. I used 4.5" strips but just measured the length of the squares. Each square represents 4" finished. So, I multiplied 4x the number of squares and added 1.5" and cut that. IOW, I used strips where possible, and for the white, it was mostly strips. The squares between the 2.5" colored ones were also 2.5" white on white.
