Love those fabrics, quiltsRfun! I'm at the same stage as you... just finished putting my last yellow star block together and still working on the red/gray diamond blocks. For some reason all my 'hourglass' blocks in the yellow stars came out a little large, so my yellow blocks had to be trimmed to match the gray blocks. No telling how many of my black star points are going to be lost! Oh well.

My hourglass blocks are a little large, too, sewbizgirl. I'm going to try taking a little larger center seam.

It's aggravating that they didn't come out exactly the same as the "Santa hats". If I ever make this quilt again (eeep... did I just say that out loud?) I will really watch those hourglasses and make sure they are correct.
