I'm just about ready to send my 3 sets GracefulAnn.

I am working on putting eyes and a mouth on the sheep and I will be all set.

My cutie cows are all done as well. I will be sending buttons in little separate baggies for the eyes. Hope yall like them.

Thanks Sleepy Hollow. I just adored the cow pattern I found in a magazine. I did end up enlarging the pattern to make the cow more prominent. All my block sets are 12.5" sq.

I just saw this pattern (Quilt) on Facebook today. It is adorable If you are looking for more farm animal patterns. Barnyard Bash by Mckay Manor. https://www.craftmore.com/mckay-mano...ard-bash-ptrn/ But, I think we ladies are making even more super cute blocks together.

That's an adorable pattern! I may have to make more than one farm animal quilt

This is not related to the quilt swap, but I had to share... My grampa raised cattle (herefords). His goals in life (after family) were to "travel and raise pretty cows". He passed the love of travel to me. He also passed the love of cows, although I don't raise any.

My first sewing project as an adult (2 years ago now!) was this tote bag. I use it to carry my smaller crochet projects (and will carry my sock projects when I finally learn to knit). A (male) coworker saw it and suggested I add "googly eyes", so I bought some and glued them over the buttons. It made a huge difference!

I see what you did there
Same coworker didn't believe me that girl cows had horns. He thought it was really weird that I was adding an udder.

I actually found the fabric with the printed cow at Salvation Army. However, I took measurements for all the pieces so I could recreate it later. I'd love to make a Hereford for my mom, and embroider my grampa's brand on the rear.
I'd be willing to share what I have.

Okay ladies, I opted to only make 3 sets. As, I want this to only be a toddler size quilt. Anna, I will mail off to you tomorrow and will confirm that with you as well.

My third and final set, Frolicking Sheep. My little sheep has spring fever.

Just Checking in. Working on my blocks, tried a few new stitches and they look good.
Hope to have them done by the time I leave my dad next week....then I just need the borders when I get back.
