Judy,
I know I am a little early (about 3 months), but could you give us a hint on the scrappy quilt colors for the next mystery quilt?
I have finished step 6 in this mystery. Step 7 will tell me if I will like it or not. My fabrics are really dark, but I'm thinking this step will lighten the blocks some. If not it's a mystery and who going to see it, , but me and my fellow train travelers, right?
I plan on posting pics after the top is finished. Next week (I hope). And no, I did not peek to the big finish yet.
Fellow train travelers - I love all of the color combinations up to step 6. I enjoy the chit chat very much, I hope to see everyone in Janunary.
Happy sewing and happy holidays everyone, (if you are getting off the train soon).

Hi there, I've finally finished my border, using up practically every scrap of fabric left! I might have enough yellow left for about 3 hexies . I'll be watching out for everyones ideas about quilting it now.
I've really enjoyed this train ride, and look forward to the next with anticipation.....
Thank you again Judy, for all your work in preparing this adventure for us.
Cheers, Kate

Kate, That border adds a whole new dimension to the quilt. It is so satisfying to use up scraps.
Evie, Those colors are so peaceful & serene. It's great.
Judy, Thanks so much for being the engineer on another great train ride! This was such a fun trip and a beautiful destination.

Happytab, scrappy is just that - made from scraps. Any and all scraps that you like.
Sunlite, you continue to make me smile, and this comment was good for a giggle or two.
I haven't been on in a few days, and all the quilts are just fabulous. I couldn't pick a favorite if my Soc Sec check depended on it!
Still thinking of a scrappy pattern. It's harder to do than a regular pattern but I'm still thinking it through.
