Here are my blocks. I decided to sew them together into the larger blocks as I go along. I know myself well enough to know that if I didn't, I probably wouldn't finish the quilt.

Will you have a problem with the bottom block pictured, since it goes the opposite direction?

So very sorry to all for not getting my blocks in by the 15th, ive let you down already. I will make it up. Things happen . I will be sending a box out on monday.
Don't know if you had in there or not, was wondering if you have an idea of how many blocks we might need for a queen size quilt ? Thank you. Dorothy

Givio, I see the block you mention but it actually is placed correctly...see all of the stars are alternated light-dark and that one is within the pattern. Took me a while after playing with my blocks to realize each block's star corners are opposites...one light-dark and the other dark-light. This means you can make any block work when creating the four block stars as Jane has done.
Dorothy, there is a separate sign-up for the next month with the deadline in the title. Blocks are to be mailed by September 15. Be sure to PM jclinganrey to let her know you plan to participate in the September group and how many sets you'll send. Happy to have you with us!

Dorothy, as Chasezzz mentioned, I posted (and will continue to post) a new thread approx. the 15th of each month for the next and coming months.

When I know that everyone from the August swap has received their package, I'll essentially 'leave' this thread and will communicate on the current months' thread. Hope that makes sense.
