For me expedited shipping is $25.75. I am in Cleveland Ohio
Hope you get it!! You'll love it!
I don't know. I was out bid once, so we will see.
I considered it, but my DD would think I was crazy to send her from Akron. Even from her in-laws in Columbus it's a drive, but I thought someone from here should get it. Fingers crossed for you! :)

Here are a few photos of the aforementioned mystery Empira machine. It seems to be moving freely and smoothly. I just have to reattach the belt.

Has anyone heard of this machine? I have looked all over on the web and have found nothing, spare a quote on Google books about a lawsuit involving an Empira Sewing Machine Company!
That is a gorgeous machine and it looks like it is a 3/4 size like the 28/128.

I really want this machine but I have no place to put it.
There is always room for one more. I now have one in my kitchen.
You know, at the moment, my kitchen is the only place I don't have a sewing machine... uh... hmmm... guess I don't have one in either of my bathrooms. I do have quilting magazines in there though!

I was given a slant foot G from a Toss and Throw. What is this foot for and can I use it in my Rockeeter? Kathie

There is one screw to remove the hook assembly, unscrew that and you can get the hook out. Once you have it out clean it all up and check for a burr on the hook; put a drop of oil where on the back of the hook on the flat part.
I have a 15-90. If you need more instructions just ask.

Son called me from Arizona today, asked me how much a 1917 New Home in a "decent" treadle cabinet was worth. LMAO! Thought I'd taught the boy better than that...told him between $50 and $100, depending on condition, etc. after I told him to check for the slide plates, shuttle and bobbin, and to make sure the handwheel turns....

It seems he's buying it for ME!! How he plans to get it here might be interesting....
