I'm sure having fun with this mystery. Love seeing everyone's work. (Now I get to brag.) I have managed to get to step three and have completed 120 of the hst (good news). (Bad news) My sons wedding is two weeks from Sunday and I haven't even started making my dress. I won't even talk about the state of the house. So unless I want to be escorted down the aisle in a quilt I better get moving. Hmmm....it would certainly be a fashion statement.

Isn't it amazing that we can find time for quilting (gotta get to that next step!!) while letting those urgent things wait. I am in almost the same boat. I'm working on step 3 too, but I have a cross stitch Christmas stocking for my baby granddaughter's first christmas. I could probably get the name done and get it totally finished today, but I found a bag of black scraps, and I've just gotta see how many HST's it will make. . .

I'm using Triangulation Software again for this step. I get 24 triangles per 8 1/2 X 11 page. I have 72 sewn and cut out. I have the rest ready to sew.

Is anybody using the Wonder Cut ruler for the HST's? I bought one, but haven't used it yet. I am hoping it will do a good job.... if not, I do have the easy angle ruler too.

I am just cutting a bunch of step 4 blocks. I found some neutrals that have some color so hope this brightens things up. I think I see a design coming together but I won't say as some do not want to know until the end. Sewing should go better while I sew on my vintage 15 machine and catching glimpses of a curling game.

Ok, I looked at my FQs again and I think I am going to make this quilt with my main color being green,my accent red and then brown for Bonnie's black and same cream yardage for the background. I may even do a couple of QST tomorrow.
