Was thinking...oops that can be dangerous...that I may swap out the aqua for yellow (I have way too much yellow in my stash) but I will not be making any part of the quilt until the reveal. Yes, I am a party pooper!

    Love everyone's fabrics!

Iceblossom....your hand dyes are to "dye" for! Glad to hear you got them stabilized finally.

One week to go until Clue #1...

Everyone who is swapping out colors are so brave. I totally cant do that, my anxiety would go through the roof. Lol, silly I know. I love seeing what everyone is going to do. Will post a pic of mine when hubby gets back.

    Belfrybat, your colors look lovely!

I wound a bunch of bobbins yesterday, and gave in and ordered 4 pieces of brighter red to enliven my reds.

Here is my inspiration. I took this pic 3 years ago near Marble Falls -- near the center of the Bluebonnet Trail. Bluebonnets in the foreground, then Englemann daisies and Indian paintbrush.

Belfrybat--Marble Falls isn't a visit without coffee at the blue bonnet café. I use to have quite a bit of family there. Long drive but so worth it. Have a great day.

I am doing the challenge this year; doing a sew-along is on my quilting goal list for 2020, but it still counts if I start it early, right? I am hoping to finish my current project this weekend so I can stay in time with the clues.

I tend to buy by projects and my stash doesn't have nearly enough fabric for the quilt (nevermind in the right colors!), so I ordered a curated bundle from a vendor on etsy. It should be here tomorrow, and I can't wait to see what I get!

Seeing everyone's fabric choices makes me really exited for how all of these quilts turn out!

I don't mind staying within her colors for this only because I choose my own for the other things I make. I'm really excited about this project! It will be fun to see each other's work. This is my first BH Mystery.

Here are my fabrics! I used the Dino fabric to pick out the colorway. I'll either use the dino fabric as some type of border or the backing. Aren't they just the cutest???? I make quilts for the Linus project, so I wanted something that I could donate when I"m finished. I'm planning on making 1/3 of the units and see what size that will get me.

On her blog she declined to include the die information for using an accuquilt machine. Will she include it with the clues do you think or will we be on our own to figure it out?
