    I would have done the same thing. You got yourself a great deal. She had a bargain in her hands and didn't realize it.

    The same thing that you did. I think the $40 price was a bargain. I would bet that she didn't have a clue of the time it would take to complete the quilting. Oh well, her loss and your gain.

    he,he,he,.......you just the bargain of the year!!!!! Some people just should not be allowed to be near quilts...they don't know what they have....but good for us who do!!!!!!!! Finish that beauty and curl up under it and have pleasant dreams....I am sure the original piecer is smiling........

    The same thing you did. Just yesterday, my friend's DH walked into my work. He works at a local Thrift shop & had found a quilt top that someone had donated to me. He wanted to know if I would buy it. I told him yes. he wanted $10.00 and I gave him $30.00 to give to the shop! Well worth it!
