Lovely quilt! You are stitching on the bias so that may account for some of the ripples. It's great--adds another dimension!

    It looks great to me!

My quilts have a lot of little booboos. Things the average person wouldn't even notice but they bother the heck out of me. To me they are very noticeable.

When they bother me too bad I take a break and when I look again in a day or two or maybe even a week or so I don't notice them anymore.

    Your quilt looks really good.

I've looked at the picture very closely looking for what you said was wrong. I just don't see it. I think you've doing me a great job. Lovely quilt. Really .

Looking great! Keep going. Once washed, the things that bother you now will go away... Your grandson will treasure this!

Just remember that you are looking at your work under a microscope because you are nose to the needle. Once the quilt is finished and washed you will step back and look at the whole. You'll be surprised at how great this is.

Did you pin baste or thread baste or spray baste? Maybe a few more lines of basting or pins might help with the "foofing" that your are the only one that sees it. If you spray basted maybe taking an iron and repressing it would help. But I think it looks great. If your Grandson doesn't want it. I'd take it in a heartbeat. When I was teaching Machine Embroidery before the computers I had to keep reminding my students that they were their worst critics.

Looks good to me, remember you are looking at it from less than arms length away, everyone looks at it from much farther away, xx
