Beautiful purrpuss! My avatar's brother, Mortimer, always smelled of fabric softener because he could not resist a basket of fresh laundry. Yep all my clothes came pre-haired. Chester, my avatar preferred batting and would make a nest out of it--pulling it thru holes in the bag if necessary--grrrrr. Learned to keep the batting on a high shelf.

I keep my batting high too. I have never made a quilt that hasn't been pre- tested by a cat.

Beautiful kitty. Everytime I would work on my quilt, my dogs would find a corner to lay on. If you didn't know that they were on it, you could pull a muscle just trying to move the quilt. LOL

Beautiful kitty, and he/she knows the proper cat role as chief comfort tester. My cats perform this important service, too, except recently I made one that they don't seem to like. I put it on the bed where they often sleep and so far, no cat hairs. Can't figure this out, and it kind of hurts my feelings that it doesn't pass the cat test. It's cotton fabric and the same W&N batting I usually use, and then washed in the same way I do all of them. I guess they don't approve of the color combination? >^oo^<

This was while I was trying to sew on a different one.

I'm guessing the mini quilt passed the comfort test then. This was after I had it sandwiched and had started quilting it..

She became very vocal when I moved her fuzzy butt over to the couch so I could work. There may have been biting involved as well.
