My Sadie cat does the same thing, I put down the quilt I'm hand quilting in a hoop, and like magic, she appears and settles her fat, fuzzy butt on it for a nap...

I just finished a couple of t shirt quilts for a friends kids...one of my cats thinks it is her "job" to help quilt them on the long arm...needless to say...calico cat...black backing...she left her trail of fur...used lint roller...got rid of all but a few stray hairs....Long story short...Friend said not to worry...they have a dog...and the quilts will soon have dog hair to go with left over cat fur...EXCEPT...dog apparently doesn't like the smell of cat fur...so is staying off the quilts!!!

"What do you want-I am ready to take a nap" says your beautiful kitty. My friend has 2 cats and they always gravitate to her quilts and especially the one she is trying to work on. Thx for sharing that cute picture.

Unless you give them the quilt then they never touch it again. I don't want it if it's mine lol

Pop open a canned cat food is another option other than putting down a quilt you're working on!! Lol
Pretty kitty!

Lovely puss. As my avatar shows, I use the same technique.
