Susan, I wrote out a response about the Sunflowers wedding last night and now it's disappeared! I think I probably was tired and closed the browser before hitting "post quick reply". Arrrrrrgh! Anyway, I know you will make something sunflowery and hope the weather is pretty for you all. Have a great time!

Such pretty fall colors Nina...trees are starting to turn...May not be a colorful year with all the rain we have had...talking flash flood watches for area this week...ugh..MrOK has been working with hay today...they baled it a little wet so not to have to wait until completely dry, then they will wrap each bale in plastic...the hay then ferments into haylage..costs extra, but the hay needs to be put up before it rains again.

Jeanie, will be great to see your quilt when done.

I plan on getting some sewing time this week...tomorrow must pay bills, then can get at it...supposed to rain tonight through Friday night....

Well, I am still alive. I am so much better & it's a good thing as we had to come back to Midland as my is back in the hospital for her diverticulitis again. They are talking about surgery. The surgeon visited her today & said that the wants her on intravenous antibiotics for another 7 days then we will discuss the surgery that he believes is necessary.

Nina, that quilt is going to be beautiful... with lovely fall colors. I like the black setting triangles and cornerstones. Really sets it off! Thanks for showing us your progress.

OK I always wondered why I saw round bales wrapped in plastic...

Bev, hope all goes well for (your mother?). Hope the antibiotics work for her.

I have a nephew and a co-worker that both had to have surgery for diverticulitis. That is an awfully painful disease, and in the case of my nephew, the infection went through one part of his colon into another part adjacent. He had to have 2 resections done. It is nothing to fool around with, that is for sure!!! Both have been fine since their surgeries, which were many years ago.

Honchey, love the pop of color in the scrappy quilt. I have started a 1.5 confetti scrappy that takes a while to see any progress...therefore its in a box in the closet.

Dublb, I wish you the best with DM; may the doctors do right by her...and she heals quickly.

JuneBily nice to hear from you...sounds like a good 'happy' trip. Those are the best kind.

Everyone take care and have a good day.
