Great hit for get pattern to right size
This website gives a chart that is soooo helpful. I do a lot of PP. If a pattern isn't the size you want, just increase it.

Too late to jump in?
I pieced the "Snow Blossom" last night/this morning. It's my first go at paper piecing, so don't look too closely!
I chose the grey/star fabric because January is very cold and bleak to me, full of long, dark, clear nights!

The block sort of made itself...I didn't have any blue that would work, very little white. When I found the grey with the stars, I realized it matched my feelings about winter.
The middle outer points and the dark grey are part of the same fabric that is lighter at one selvage and nearly black at the other.
Anxious to see February's block!!

Enlarging/Reducing Scale for Patterns

To use this table:
Locate your current block size down the left hand column and then across the top find the size that you want your new block to be. Follow the column down and the row across till they meet and this will give you the amount you either need to enlarge or reduce your original pattern.

To be able to enlarge or reduce to anysize that is wanted (if it isn't in the above table) use the basic formula here:
(block size wanted) / (current block size) = (percentage to enlarge or reduce original block)*100
Example 1:
Current size = 4" and you want a 12" block -
12/4=3 -> 3*100= 300%
Example 2:
Current size =12" and you want a 7" block -
7/12=.583 ->.583*100=58% or 59%
