I think the price was mis-typed. That same coffee maker is all over the place on the internet for about $90.

However, I think it's hysterical that it won't work in the USA yet he won't ship it anywhere else! Er...come again??

If you mean one like in the picture, you should not be using it - not safe. The handle can separate, dropping a pot of hot coffee on you.

You're right - I thought it so funny I got bold enough to send the following question to the seller:

"YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING??? It DOESN'T WORK IN THE USA - you DON'T SHIP INTL - where the heck do you find someone you can ship to, OR THAT WILL PAY THAT RIDICULOUS PRICE!!! (and you have 10+ of them)"

Of course it wasn't posted on the item & I'm pretty sure I won't get a reply. I noticed he has a lot of items for $999.99 that are no where near that price other places. I can't believe there are actually people out there who pay those prices, but guess it takes all kinds & there must be, he sure has sold a lot of things

Do they think that machine is made out of gold.
I have a one cup I gave $19.95 and I also have a 10-12 cup one that I think only cost me $9.95.
That price is $860 too much.

Did it come with the house she lived in?

When my coffeemaker finally craps the bed, I'm just going to buy a grinder and use my French press. I already buy whole-bean coffee (my coffeepot has a built-in grinder), and it is far superior to anything that comes pre-ground. I've had this pot for about ten years, and the latch that holds the grinder closed has broken, but it's nothing a piece of tape doesn't take care of. It still works, so I can't bring myself to junk it just yet.

WOW !!!! And I thought I used really good coffee when I get the Seatles Best, Eight O'Clock or even Dunkin Dounuts kind, sometimes I grind my own for a pot. I have never seen anything like this site. (so sheltered)
