Quote: Bought my vintage percolator for $3.99. It takes a few extra minutes to do it the old fashioned way, but it is the best coffee ever!
I was looking at a percolator yesterday in the camping aisle at Wal Mart. I almost brought it home just because....=)

Quote: I guess that they think people are nuts to buy stuff off EBAY. My daughter bought me a Kuerig and I like it, but I would never have purchased it for myself. too spendy. anywhere from $99 to $145. then the boxes of coffees and teas, 8.99 and up depending on size of box. i use my coffee and tea ones for more than one cup.
Loved my keurig while it lasted, because I like strong coffee and DH likes it weak. I used the filter cup that you could use your own coffee with. I don't think I will spring for another because I am trying to be less impulsive and really thrifty.Try the little reusable filters they are great .

Mmm! Coffee! But not for $888!. I was surfing the online classifieds from a local TV station a few days ago. Someone there decided to list grandma's sewing machine for $49,900. I had a good laugh at that!

Did you notice that it won't work in the USA?

Did you look at all his other items for sale. All of them are outrageous. There's a copper egg bowl for like 90 bucks. There's also a thermal tote bag for $68.00.

All his stuff is way over the top and it's all buy it now.

That is outrageous! You can get a free one from Gevalia for trying their coffee. And it is a very nice one too. Their coffee is also good.
