I feel about as welcome as a wart on the end of a nose.
I HATE our LQS!!!! If you are not "one of the girls"...I could quilt circles around all of them....lol...but the people at Joanne's know me and always question what I am working on...and then ask about it next time. LQSs need to KNOW all their customers...not just the cherished few!!!

I really like it when I go to one of the LQS I frequent and they call me by name. I don't think it indicates that I have a problem just friendly clerks.

I'm right there with ya!! I went one day, then the next day realized I forgot something....when I checked out, the same sales clerk waited on me and said, "forgot something?".....yeah, they all know me there too. But, I also try to make them smile since so many give them a hard time.

It isn't a problem until they know your credit card number by memory. LOL

Isn't it nice to go to a store and everyone knows you. I have one that is better.... I go to a LQS and the girls say " I have been waiting for you to come in. I have saved a special fabric for you, I just know you want!!"

I have one or two sad occassions where I have went into a LQS and never returned because I wasn't acknowledged when i entered.
