Yep! Yeh! The Friday "Open Quilt" we started last week, met again today. We had 1 more than last week and several visitors asking about it. I machine sewed binding on last weeks project and added more quilting to a class sample (needs to be finished next week along with another class sample). Been invited to quilt at a friends tomorrow. Sunday is Easter-no sewing. I'm mostly enjoying the friendship.

Didn't think I would be getting any sewing done with DGS at my house yesterday afternoon / evening and today, but he wanted to go to Grammy's sewing room. So I made him a denim bag with superheroes lining for his iPad and then he decided the throw I made with the hot air balloon swap blocks needed to have fleece on the back and be his. So got that stitched together - just outlining around the balloons this morning and binding done this afternoon. And of course he took that with him for the weekend. Still need to do the binding on the quilt I was actually trying to finish. Lol.

Who else is out there sewing today?

My goal today is to finish the top of the Quilt for Quilters quilt 2013. I also have a couple of charity quilts and a top I want to sandwich. It is not yet 8 am so I am still laying in bed looking for inspiration in the QB.

Who is joining me today?

Started a rag quilt yesterday for a gal at church who had a heart attack. Finished up today. Washed and dried!

I need to make something for a young lady who's got a billion health problems. Maybe a jeans purse.

I was quilting at 4 this morning. Working on a birthday quilt for DGD. I don't like the front, but she does, so I got a backing of Natural Sea Turtles and yesterday I started detailing it for her. I even have enough fabric left over for a
16" pillow for her, to go with it! :-) I'm in Central Florida & will be quilting outside again later. It's a beautiful day!!

Got two jeans purses done. And organized a bunch of fabric, too. Got too many projects in too many containers-------------in various stages of being done

Yes! I was able to get all but 2 rows completed in my Blooming 9 (LOL- when the rows started getting really long, I stopped and started from the other end of the piles where the rows were shorter so I'd feel like I got "more" done )

Will likely finish the rows up tomorrow morning before traveling for Easter with the in-laws.

Easter egg hunt is done, dinner was a success, most of the clean up is done. Sunday will be spent finishing the clean up and re-organizing my projects for a fresh start on Monday. Sounds like some of you really got a lot done. Doesn't that feel good!
