My daughter bought me a Feather Weight that was commissioned in my birth year - 1936. I do love her. Machine & daughter.

There's nothing from the end of '73 either. My Kenmore 158.18030 is dated 1974. I probably won't dig too hard to find a 158.18033. Close enough for me.

The local thrift store that has two 115's are from the batch of December 1915. Not quite!

Seeing info on the QB about a Singer 201 here is what got me interested in vintage machines. I had my mom's old machine so I started working on cleaning it up. Using information here I tracked down its birthday and found we were both born the same year! How special. I love it.

Of course you're weird! I think we all are! It's a good weird tho. I have been less focused on getting a birth year machine than getting my mother's machine. Now that I have that, I need to get it fixed up!

Don't give me yet another one to be on the look out for lol!

My cute little featherweight was born in 1956, same as me. It was fun to find that out when I got her home.
