What is your city known for?

I live in Mariposa County, CA. It's the home of Yosemite National Park. It's also the last town on the famous Gold Chain (remember the gold rush of 1849?). The town is very historic and has the oldest courthouse still in daily use west of the Mississippi River.
On a more current note it's also home to NFL guard Logan Mankins from the New England Patriots. His grandfather was the constable for many years.

Snohomish is known as the antique capital of the pacific northwest. We used to go antique-ing every so often but we are trying to simplify and don't need any more stuff! Come and see us, though, Snohomish is a very cute little town on the Snohomish River.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Home of the largest music festival in the World (yes, World) - SUMMERFEST.

The World's Largest Music Festival and Milwaukee's cornerstone summer celebration attracts the music industry's hottest stars, along with emerging talent and local favorites.
11 days, 11 stages - over 700 bands!
The 23,000 capacity Marcus Amphitheater, 10 additional stages, diverse selection of food and beverages, marketplaces and interactive exhibits are set against the Lake Michigan and downtown backdrop, creating a festival experience like no other. On a hot day, well over 100,000 will pack the shores of the Lake and take in the music. One main gate entry gives you access to all the side stages and entertainment (except main stage)
