This sounds like a really neat idea. I bought a bunch of zippered bags made to hold fq's but the problem is they are out of sight and so out of mind. Ineed to do something to make mine more visible.

dunster, that looks kool. My problem is space. Right now I have all my FQ's in a tub. Would love to have space for shelves to put all my fabric. BrendaK

Jaci I love the cabinet you have now...maybe DH could make you another one? You can buy those small shoe box size clear totes at the $ store. I use them for fabric & thread. They seem to work well. crafty_linda_b

Or get some of the rolling cart ones. Joann's has them and you could use your 50% coupon...I posted twice so am trying to edit the space without looking like an idiot *L* so thought of another suggestion for you...crafty_linda_b

These are what I use. Darn near emptied the shelves out at our Dollar Store one day when I realized they were perfect (for me)!

Brenda - dont think of just floor sace - think up-maybe you could hang on a wall especially the dvd/cd racks - these are the perfect size I think.

I found these - see my post - they stack great under my cutting table and you can see thru them so you know what you have.

PLASTIC shoe boxes fro $ stores - $1 each.

I think the one from LV is too small. I like my FQ on shelves by color so I can see what I have and what I need. If I need a green I can slide out the pile, quickly look through it and put back the ones I don't want, etc. The little drawers just get me disorganized because I forget to look there.
