I'm cutting out the 9patch strips for my first ever quilt. I need clarification on something though:
I need 3 sets of each patch strip, is that 3 strips of 3 patches or is it 9 strips of the 3 patches? These are supposed to be 9 patches when finished.

I am in! I haven't done much lately in my sewing room at all. Hope to spend the majority of the weekend in there. We got about 7" snow here so makes a good sewing day. Got my embroidery machine talking to my computer now so I hope to make some FSL snowflakes for happy presents today. Got a large lap quilt to finish hiding the threads, so many projects to get started or finish.

These are my sandwiched squares for FMQ practice. I have lots more front and back and batting squares cut. Some of the cotton squares are upside down to make it easier to see the quilting.

Just getting ready to pack my machine and sewing stuff and head on over to church where a bunch of us will sewing, assembling and tieing off quilts to be given to those in need within our church body and/or the community where needed. We take donated fabric, cut 8" squares and sew them together. Many who have never sewn before have joined us and gotten really caught up in it. Should be fun.
