I sewed a binding on a quilt last night (still need to hand sew the other side). This afternoon I am starting a Warm Wishes lap quilt for my MIL. Will post pictures the end of the weekend. We are to get about a foot of snow late this afternoon into Sunday. I would say this is perfect sewing weather! Hope everyone has a productive and fun weekend!

I got all my squares cut for a Hello Kitty rag quilt except for 9 squares that I'm not sure what I will do for them yet. This one is pink and purple and I am using batting in the middle for the first time. Hopefully I'll get Betty Jean set up in a few minutes and start putting the layers together but first another cup of coffee.

I'm going to be working on and off, its been more off due to Christmas family stuff. And then we had to go to a movie... because you can't miss the Hobbit 2! Friends coming over this afternoon but hoping to do some sewing later after my dryer is delivered or maybe tomorrow? Love seeing all the projects, good work everyone!

I made chocolate chip cookies. Does that count as productive? I tried to work on my quilt but a 2 year old running a muck made it impossible. He's gone to visit his other grandparents for a few hours so maybe I can get something done.

Well, I got nothing done today! I pinched a nerve in my neck while I slept so quilting really wasn't an option. Hopefully the Bengay and the heating pad will fix it enough so I can work on my applique tomorrow. I've checked in several times today and have enjoyed reading what everyone has been up to and seeing the pictures.
