Can’t wait to see this quilt finished. I Love the “Prison Sue” plan.

Bad Sue quilts are Fun! Some are really bad, others are just silly fun. The Lallyquilters (an online quilting group I'm in - a branch book club/Outlander fans -the Ladies of Lallybroch) bad a Bad Sue years ago & we had so much fun. Most of the blocks are based on nonsense from the Outlander books. My block was Sue peeking underneath a kilt.
I made a webpage for the group and documented the progress of the quilt here: http://osewfast.tripod.com/index.htm

FYI - the little picklehead who helped me sew this project is now finishing up his 3rd year of college. Where has the time gone!!??

    Enjoy!

MadQuilter has a thread here on the QB about Sue on a Mad Murder Spree. It really was funny. Each Sue was different. Here's a link: My Mad Murder Spree - Killing Sunbonnet Sue

I hadn’t heard of a Bad Sue quilt, either. Too funny! It expands my thinking to make all kinds of themed Sues. Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc. Bad Sue could be frying ants with a magnifying glass or putting a tack on the teacher’s chair if you wanted to keep it mild or be as bad as Susie Borden took an ax. I love it. What inspiration. I can’t wait to see what your quilt looks like.
