Wow Libster, that's a new block to me also..I love it! All the blocks are pretty that people have been making. I hope to get started on this group this weekend. They again are calling for freezing rain and snow Sat but usually when they call for it we don't get it!

I just posted pics of an old quilt I am repairing, over in Hummingbird. If you go look you will feel a lot better about your blocks' minor imperfections, LOL!

Thanks for the compliments, Guys. That star was supposed to have 4 diamonds in the center. Welllllllll.....Needless to say, I had to improvise when it was time to put the center together. My calculations did not work out like I thought they would. I came up one square short on Joan's floral for what I needed. I just told myself that I have to make it work out. I played with it until I came up with something. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

This is Libster’s block. One of my big problems in these booms is I can’t bear to cut up the beautiful flower fabric,

The blue and white Dresden is for terriamn. The other Dresden is for Joanlizbay. These Dresden’s are from the Distinctiv Dresdens book by Marek. You’d think with my stash I’d have tonal blue for Terri’s block but no they wee all the wrong blue. Had to resort to solids
