2019 UFO Challenge

I will have to rummage around in my binders and locate the exchange block patterns to find the name. Will likely not get to post again until Friday. Thanks for the kind words. It is encouraging as I press on toward polishing my HQ.

I had a UFO finish for August, after thinking I had no UFOs! It was an art quilt I started a few years ago but put away when it wasn't working as I envisioned. I changed it up to be a scene with flowers & a windmill & gave it to a good friend I visited at the end of August. She will hang it in her stair landing so she'll see it each trip up & down the stairs. I tried posting it from my phone, but couldn't resize for the format here. I'll have to send it to my computer to do that. I'll post it later.

Lovely stitching, WMUTeach! HQ is very difficult for my hands and so shy away from it. Once in a while will use it on a mini quilt, but that's about all I feel I can do.
A UFO finish for September. I found a 40 x 40 pastel top complete with backing, batting and binding. Used a panto for the second time and got it done...took me longer to get that figured out..so hard to get used to quilting without looking at the quilt. Had a meeting last night, but got the binding on afterwards. Now to work today.

I would count it, Queen....a UFO is A UFO when transferred. Lol.. That's my reasoning.
I found a LA'er so I hope to get my 2 quilt tops recently finished prepped and delivered in a couple of weeks. I stored them when I finished them but I can hear the whining noises coming from the corner of workshop...

Maryb, I found the pattern but it does not have a name of the block on it. It was paper pieced. I will contact my quilt leaders and see if they have a name for the block. As I recall it was a very easy paper pieced block.
