I would partner with you, Brat.

On another note, this tropical table runner is taking on a life of its own! I am still piecing becuase it keeps speaking to me and I am adding things. My husband asked me last night how much longer I had and I said to the end of the month, of course I didn't mention the needle case and my 6.5" farm squares I need to finish picking out.

happy happy dance dance!!!! I was so uhappy yesterday evening I got almost nothing done on my two days off.. then the hubby says.. you do know its Sunday right? I said no.. he said yes its Sunday. OH MY GOSH I have Mondays off too so it was this wonder moment. how did I do that? spend the whole day thinking it was another day. Figured it out he took Saturday off and he never takes Saturday and Sunday off so it all fell together for me. I was o.d.'s with husband inthe house syndrome. lol. go back to work! go fishing! go paint something! just GO! he has a tendancy to want to visit while I sew so I am forever stopping to talk again and it ruines my groove at times. lots of times.

Today I will evict him so I can sew. wish me oodles of luck. here fishy fishy .. here fishy fishy..

This is going to be so much fun! I love doing runners! My main love is scrappy but I do have a stash to grab from and that includes batiks and other fun stuff! I am excited to see who I a paired with!
Oh but being as I live in Canada, the patriotic to me would be only red and white!
You catch this Ms. Brat, we have a taker here.

There are some more that would love the triangle one, so you got me paired up with someone I am sure, if I need to have two partners, then so be it, I can get these quilted and ready to go. If my partner is the one who said would do binding, then there we go, I am done. Will put them in the line up to be quilted. Will be in May, but no worries. The DWR will be done in feathers of course, and will find a suitable modern design for the triangles. I will have to look up the magazine I got it out of. Was June 2007 Quilters News letter I believe, but let me get it for sure. they are 60 degree triangles. You piece them like you would a lone star in a sense, but the strips are two different sizes. I just wanted to try the idea. Yep, it has been in my stash of magazines since then. That is when i started it and then I put the magazine with the fabric inside it on the shelf and forgot about it till I was cleaning up the magazines and giving them away. the DWR is from before that, oh about 10 years ago, made a king for my brother then had a few left so made up the table runner then it got stuffed away when we moved and I forgot about it. Silly me.

The colors in that are so pretty takers will crawl out of the cupboards quiltermomma. even a simple quilt job and that is terrific. why not a flip no binding if you dont want to do binding? just a thought...

Arizonakat your in I am sorry your name isnt showing lets add you officially right now. I wrote a post earlier guess it didnt show up. I am getting a blue screen in the quick reply all the time its frustrating the hell out of me. argh pirates!

NEW (already signed up Brat blew it and forgot to add a couple)

    ARIZONAKAT SIGNED UP!
    BUSLADY SIGNED UP!
on the official list in the saved folder and everything promise you guys this is going to be such a great swap. All of you do such cool work and MAIL. I will be seriously unhappy with anyone who doesnt mail. Its not fair to others who work so hard so that would probaby not work with me. I do hope I do not need a quilting angel this round. I trust all of you and with that said wish I could start the party right now. I am personally dying to figure out what fabrics I might need for my partners pic of the month!

just off the top of the shoulder here who is thinking they are wanting summer to give/ to get and who is wanting to make patriotic to give or get? ie I would love patriotic but can make summer as i have no flags waiting to be sewn in my stash? does that make sense ? not saying I can work magic but I might be able to try to give partners in a way that it helps at least some of you only use your stash and not make you have to go shopping.
