Today I get to figure out how to do the corners on my current round. I'm liking it!
I was mistaken on the progress of the comfort quilt, it is being quilted this week. Here's the top and back blowing in the wind at my Tuesday (outdoor) group.
That's one bold backing fabric!

Oh, so far you make my stuff shine, Mary! Can hardly wait to see what you do with this round.
That wild back came out of my stash, it was a thrift store find maybe 8 yards?? and has been sitting in my stash for at least 10 years. I had it is a "big enough but unlikely to be chosen" along with six or so other fabrics to audition and it was June, the little lady to the left, who just fell in love with it. Harriet on the right pieced the back and our hostess put the top together and will quilt it, June will put on the binding.
Our friend's husband has been in the hospital for about a month now. It was hoped he would be released yesterday but I haven't heard word yet and release has been pushed back a couple of times.

About to layout the borders and corners again a final time this morning, or at least I think it will be the final. I like this round, it's been a happy thing to work on and it achieves my goals while I hope it contributes to the top as a whole.
Once I have everything set, I shut the door and come back a couple hours later to see if anything jumps out as wrong. Problem is when you layout on the bed and the hubby wants to sleep in it... and of course the cat wants to see what you are doing and the dogs want to see if the cat is getting snacks they aren't.

I just want to compliment all you ladies on the knowledge that I am getting from seeing your creativeness with these Round Robins. I thought I was a quilter, but I am once again seeing that I have a lot to learn. Every time a new picture comes up, I am once again in awe. I am so glad I am sharing the journey with you in spirit.
