I would love to have one of these...hubby is a keeper for sure!!

Whatever cabinets you install, make sure doors are installed...great to have stash unseen.

Good lighting overhead that doesn't create shadows when you are working.

A dehumidifier as needed.
The standard machine and notions goes without saying. But what gadgets, storage options, or other suggestions would you have?

My big change will be having a dedicated outlet for my iron...woohoo! But anything else you can suggested while I'm in the planning stages would be helpful. :)

A convenient holder for all your rulers, shelving for fabrics, TV stand - up high so you don't take up any space for other stuff, and a cutting table.

I am repeating what has already been stated but a cutting table is a must, a window for ventilation, good lighting, and a large design wall. I have a very heavy letter holder that I use to store my rulers but I can see a peg board being handy. Closets or shelving is a must as well.

I like having all my spools of thread on a rack on the wall.

You must have a design wall of some sort. It can be a foldable one, but you need to be able to lay out at least a double-bed quilt on it!
