Thanks, Jan. I have a flimsy tumbler with blue borders done for myself.
Honchey, Jan's right about the red squares. This is going to be a cozy quilt isn't it? Oh and watch your mail box--packet sent yesterday. The email message I sent was undeliverable. Do I have an old one?

Saga of without bad luck, we would have no luck at all. Thought the Van was going into shop to have the valve covers, gaskets, replaced but then the GMC 4x4 rusted through the brake lines, so that takes most of the budget monies for the month. It was good luck that it did it at the station and not the way into town.

So I had to drive the van into town to pick up dh; I have not driven much since April, and boy, was that ever hard to do. Thank goodness it was just 12 miles that I had to grasp the steering wheel so hard my hands ache today. I was super quick to get out of the driver's seat at the station and give it to DH.

Will see what today brings; may the Man above smile at all of us. Celebrate the day with a smile. The government has not figured out how to tax that ... yet.

    oksewglad - they look great

Honchey - really liked it before the red, love it after the red. As you say, the print now really stands out. Nicely done.

    Thanks w4me!

Good for you to get back in the saddle--I mean behind the wheel--again, QNS. Next time it will be easier; take a deep breath and then you are off.

Check this post for a laugh--

Thanks, Ok, I needed that laugh; that sums up the start of the every day as a senior, as I well know. Dr. say my right eye is as good as ever, but they have not convinced me yet....and behind the driver's seat convinces me they just might be wrong....depth perception is off and cannot see how fast I am going and keep my eye on the road. It is not fun anymore.

Yes, I agree that Oksewglad does those Mini quilts about perfect! And Honchey knows how to add her 'red' wow factor in her quilting design.

Dublb, I am getting that Texas feeling again when I watch the Great American County,, Highway Cowboys show. Apparently, several counties in NE Texas have some ranch Cowboys on speed dial to come 'catch' cattle loose near the interstate with their horses, ropes and trailers.

MrJanRN always asks me when I come home from work "How was your day?" I reply "it was a one pee day" (meaning very busy) or a "two pee day" which is a good day. Oh my, maybe I shouldn't have shared that LOL!!
