Default Can anyone recommend a book for EQ7?

I have been through the PDF Tutorials that came with my EQ7, I know there is a lot more to the program than what is in these lessons. Can anyone recommend a book that goes into depth a little farther?

There probably is a good book, however we have a great tutorial on our board. Put "Rhonda's Electric Quilt Class" in the search box in the upper right of this screen. I think there are over 20 lessons. Take them in order!

Rhondas tutorials, that PaperPrincess refers to, are very good - I would start there. But if you are looking for something else after that, EQ sells a series "EQ With Me". I have the Pieced Drawing one -which is excellent.

Here is also two links for additional free tutorials and videos on the EQ site

I bought the book: EQ with Me: Pieced Drawing from Electric Quilt.com. It has many things in there that are not in the user manual - and written in a more user-friendly manner. Consider your user manual as a reference. This walks you through projects. There are also some EQ lessons for EQ7 teachers that might be helpful. I read through the book and made notes in a notebook, noting pages that I would use. For example, I did not make many notes about the Images part of the book, because I do not use that. I would also check out http://doyoueq.com/blog/
Read back and see entries talking about design etc and you can cut and paste the information to refer to when you need it. If you see a copy of the old book, it says it is written for EQ6, but it works for EQ7.
Good luck
