Sorry, Patti, it never occurred to me. I need to take pics of more of the weeks, so I'll do some of the quilted ones at the same time. It will have to be tomorrow now, I am sitting down ready to watch Sunday evening TV.

 :?: :?: :?: Could I join in on the new week? I've been trying to catch up but I started Late and I'm still on Beginning week 9 , I stitched all weekend and got thru 6 and 8 week, I was thinking Maybe I'd catch up later when there's Fewer Blocks to do,and in summer I can get more done. Just wondering. Sure Hope it'll be OK. I love following along and all!!!

You can do whatever you like - joining in with us from now on is quite a good idea, because then it will make more sense when we post about the blocks. We must be over 80 people now, having has a few later joiners - isn't that great? Well done everybody.

I was asked to post a pic of some of the blocks I started quilting over the weekend, so here goes. I have quilted them as similarly as I can, comparing them to pics in the book. Where I couldn't see, then I did my own thing, in the style of Jane, so to speak. This is the first half a dozen, but I have done about 8 more, so far.

Oh my! Your quilting is beautiful! That is a lot of quilting for a small block! I need to trim my block quite a lot to be able to do that much hand quilting on each block!

Lesley, thanks so much for posting the pics. I trying to figure out how to do this. Your blocks look fantastic! So...when they are all done, you will flip them over and sew the blocks to the sashing, then together while folding the batting out of the way or how exactly do you do the next part? Its really intrigueing to me...and might be what I try to do.

Lesley, you are a superstar for sure! I love how you are doing this, and wish I were brave enough to try it. I just can't bear the thought of another "new method" for this project. It's hard enough as it is!!

Sandpat, I know that K3N did a tute on this - look for it. She makes it sound so simple...of course we know that these talented quilters make everything look simple...:)
