Red Between the Lines - a pinwheel quilt top

I just finished this quilt top using a palette of red and gray fabrics, arranged in concentric rows. It contains 169 pinwheel blocks, each with 12 pieces instead of the usual 8. It measures about 53" square.

I keep this idea for my red and green fabrics that I bought some 8 years ago and that I can not decide what to do with it. I really like what you did :bravo

I like the neutral pinwheels in contrast with the main ones. Pretty quilt.

Ohhhhh so very pretty! I, too, love the contrasting blocks, your color palette and especially like the scale of your pinwheels.. something about the whole quilt is creating a little visual illusion. Wonderful!
