Hootnannie, I love this chart! Thank you so much, I had never seen it!

This makes my machines fit right in - my 127 is a 1913 machine (they started in 1910), my 27 is a 1901 (they started in 1891), my 28 is an 1898 (they stated in 1891), my VS 3 that I just got is an 1889 (they started in 1887) and the VS 3 also started in 1887 - but it was a rectangular bed!

What is the link to this page? Did it go into the 66's etc.?

Nancy
I was trying to find the name of Bessie's decal, which BTW is "Painted Roses". I bought a fiddlebase V2 and loved it so much that I bought an identical one on E-bay with pristine decals on it. It's the head only so now I'm in search of an appropriate treadle cabinet. The complete one is going to my GD for Christmas. Any how the link is below and has a wealth of info. Enjoy!

Wow! Thanks Annie for sharing this information. I really need to take the time to organize my literature from the past couple of years :)

Oh so much to do so little time.... Off to a Spa appt for a new arrival.

About NB I was a member and was able to sign on to it maybe 2 weeks ago. Tried to sign one several times last week and it wouldn't accept my password so think since I am on this board I have been blackballed. Has anyone else had this problem in the last few weeks?
I've had the same issue and have sent several emails to Allen regarding my inability to access the forums. I am sure that there is a logical reason.

How strange. In my neck of the woods the sun is shining AND it's snowing.

Geeze, I did not realize your avator Lotus was that old! Man, that lotus looks great!

And yes, I'd expect a 1908 machine to have a back clamp! I am going to have to make a timeframe for our 66's with back clamps and side clamps. Now, with your machine I am back to wondering why Kathie's 1909 has a side clamp - I bet her machine was a special order!

Nancy
Nancy, I looked at my White and the feet attatch to the bottom of the needle bar. There are no clamps on it. Kathie

kwendt, the machine in that coffin top looks like the Ruby I am considering. A smaller machine than its predecessor, apparently.

This is my first time to try to post pics here but just gotta try so I can show ya'll they jewel I found yesterday. I've already named her Annabelle. From the best I can make out the serial # is G8459271 which I think makes her a 1910 model 15 Red eye. It has the singer swing away motor but I need a new rubber on the little wheel that touches the bigger wheel. The guy I bought her from said he thinks the contacts are bad in the foot pedal. DH can hardly wait to tinker with her but even if she never works properly she will be a beauty to look at once she's cleaned up.

Yes, that is the way most White's attach. Mine too!
